i'm listening. but seriously, what are you supposed to do?
To begin with instead of "Rabbis" seeking and worrying about making everybody feel comftorable, they should start laying down the- laws!
Part of the problem is that these surveys are not comparing apples to apples. Xtianity is a religion, pure and simple. If as an Xtian you don't believe in J, you just stop being an Xtian (or perhaps become a Unitarian, which is only arguably Xtian). Judaism has so many aspects (an ethnicity, a civilization, a religion, etc.) that many people who reject its religious aspects still identify as Jews. So naturally the percentage of Jews who are atheist is higher than the percentage of Xtian atheists - Xtian atheist no longer identify as Xtian!
