Mayor Mike booed in Satmar

Mike visited Satmar Chasidic Sukkot observances last night in Williamsburg, and drew applause for his handling of that mohel case.
He also delivered his usual friend-of-the-Jews speech, which includes a line about his support for Israel.
“He was booed,” one Satmar correspondent tells The Politicker.
The problem? The particular niche in New York's complicated Jewish life he was visiting is occupied by a sect that has long opposed the notion of a Jewish state.
