Jerusalem hospital sold

Haaretz
The private Jerusalem hospital Bikur Holim will be purchased by a group of local businessmen for $20 million, the official receiver appointed by the Jerusalem District Court announced yesterday...
The receiver's announcement followed warnings about the imminent closure of Bikur Holim due to the hospital's debts, which exceed NIS 200 million. In November 2003, the court appointed Shahar as receiver. Bikur Holim had been owned by the private nonprofit association, Bikur Holim, and managed by public figures from the Haredi community, including members of the Porush family - former MK Menahem Porush among them.
