NBA Stern proves he's no racist
Jewish NBA commissioner David Stern defends himself on charges of racism from black players, for a new NBA policy:
USA Today:
...Responding to remarks Indiana's Stephen Jackson made during training camp about the (NBA)league's new dress code, which includes a ban on visible chains, pendants and medallions over attire, Stern insisted that the rules carry no racially motivated undertones. "Have you been around South Beach long? Most of the people I see with chains are elderly Jewish gentlemen, so I don't know what he's talking about," said Stern, 63.
These elderly Jewish gentlemen are probably the NBA's owners.
This reminds me of a quote by the black godfather of hip-hop, Russell Simmons: "You know what young black kids want to wear? The same thing that old Jewish men wear."
