A sad affair

Another so called "rabbi"; another turn on the rapidly moving downwards spiral of the non torah observing jewish movements:

From a column:

This coming Thanksgiving, on our 21st anniversary, my life partner Gersh and I are getting married in Canada.
Over ten years ago, we sat down with our rabbi to talk about getting married in our Detroit-suburb synagogue. It's liberal, welcoming, with mixed marriages, inter-racial couples, and gay and lesbian couples. The rabbi himself is gay and fully committed to offering gay couples the same respect and opportunities for connection to and in their faith as straight ones.
He suggested we read Anita Diamant's "The New Jewish Wedding" for ideas, and we did...

Under the "chuppa" the "couple"and the "rabbi" will be breaking much more then the glass.

While I don't agree with intermarriage, thank God there are people out there who understand that gay couples deserve to be treated with respect - and it should be celebrated tht two Jewish people want to join in a monogomous, committed relationship.

Treated with respect? They should be taken out and shot at dawn!
