Bolgger targets area's anti-frum

A new blog has emerged accusing the press, politicians and activists of bigoted treatment of the Hasidic communities in Orange and Sullivan counties.
SOCAWatch (www.socawatch.blogspot.com) mainly tracks events in southern Orange and scours the pages of the Times Herald-Record for words and actions it deems anti-Semitic.
Its main targets so far have been the Record itself and the town and county leaders who led opposition to Kiryas Joel's proposed Catskill Aqueduct connection. It has also gone after SOCA At Work, the Woodbury activist group and spinoff of SOCA, the Southern Orange County Alliance (hence the blog name).
