Comments will be moderated

Due to repeated abuse by a few commenters and complaints by many more, all comments will now be reviewed before being published. This is not an attempt to censor anyone's opinion, your comment will be published if it is decently presented. Let's try to keep out the name-calling and other sorts of vulgarity.

That will not happen. Comments will be published if there is no name-calling or other sorts of 'nivul peh' problems.

It is a shame that it had to come to this. It will defintly curtail alot of info that one learns only through the comments. I wonder if all the commentery against the Vaad and AK had to do with it. Anyway if Shtender is moderating the comments in a timely fashion then why not let people post and erase the ones that do not belong?
It shouldn't curtail any info whatsover, that's not the purpose of this.

Generally, it shouldn't take long. But sometimes it will take longer than other times.

Very to the point.

Maybe you can edit out the bad parts of good comments.

Comment moderation is the death of a blog-look at cross currents-they have a host of very famous names writing for them. Moderation-unless one has a constant on-line moderator elimintes discussion.

What is true in one case may not be true for another. Let's see how it goes before we bash it.

There are certain decency lines that should not be crossed, which we all recognize. I'm not going to judge what constitutes a good or a bad comment and then edit the replies. People should use common sense when posting, hameyvin yavin.
