Fire at shloimy's

Roofers working with torches on East County Line Road appear to have started a fire that caused heavy damage to a meat market and nearly closed Route 9, fire officials say.
The blaze, at Shloimy's Kosher World, 23 E. County Line Road, was called in to fire and police at 2:50 Thursday afternoon, Lakewood Fire Chief John Stillwell said. No one was injured in the blaze, which drew 75 firefighters from Lakewood, Brick and Dover Township. Lakewood first aid workers also responded.
Stillwell said roofers working on the building's flat-tar roof were using torches when they noticed a problem...
