Iran threat stirs U.N. and Israel

The fanatical Iranian president is doing the U.S. and Israel's bidding in getting Iran completely ostracized from the global community.

  • The U.N. Security Council unanimously condemned anti-Israel calls by Irans president. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has said Israel should be destroyed, recently called for Israel to be moved to Europe, and denied the Holocaust.
    The members of the Security Council condemn the remarks about Israel and the denial of the Holocaust, Security Council said in a statement Friday. The members of the Security Council reaffirm the rights and obligations of the State of Israel as a full and long-standing member of the United Nations...
    A press statement is the weakest form of Security Council disapproval, well short of a resolution.

  • Israels defense minister said his country should prepare non-diplomatic solutions to Irans threat. The right move would be to let a diplomatic approach guide us, but we must also prepare other solutions, Shaul Mofaz said Friday during a visit to Tel Avivs Hatikva market, a popular stop for politicians wanting to reach pre-Sabbath shoppers...
