Myths no longer

I'd like to dispel of a few myths people seem to believe in:

  • Myth 1: I am Aaron Kotler.

I'm not; though I wish I had his salary.

  • Myth 2: For all the hard earned tax dollars that the Lakewood Township collects from its frustrated tax payers, the citizens get back zilch, nothing.

An insidious lie. The hardworking, aggressive Township has given a great deal. It has given the community: red colored, painted boxes on street corners.

  • Myth 3: Lakewood Yeshiva is now taking the 'shidduch crisis' thing seriously, and determined not to make it worse.

Impossible: By going ahead and forbidding yungerleit from possessing at home internet, with parnasah the single exception, now the stereotypical Lakewood boy in addition to asking for: "looks", "money", "respectable family", will demand- "a girl whose job requires at home the internet." Furthering the crisis!

where are the statistics proving that the shidduch crisis exists. informal surveys indicate that few people really know unmarried charedi singles between ages 24-29 and that the proportion of "older" single girls in this age group, and possibly actual numbers, have gone down over the past decade or two.

I just got the reults of another informal survey and that is that The rosh yeshivas dont pay schar leemud from thier own for thier children and there are cluless when it comes to working/money matters.
its no wonder that they are so insesitive in these areas.
AL TADIN ES CHAVERO AD SHETAGEEYA LIMKOMO.
Find me one upscale Rosh yeshiva today that pays schar leemud or for that matter find me one r/y that is in major debt like some of us yungerliet/ ballebatim.
